Post Election Blues

About a year ago, I bet Bud Coddington that John McCain would be elected president. This bet was made before the New Hampshire primary. At the time, John McCain's campaign had collapsed and Hillary Clinton was riding high. Still, though I was a Clinton supporter, I thought McCain would come back and defeat Hillary. I knew nothing about Barack Obama. That soon changed because my wife and son were enthusiastically behind him. Now I'm thrilled to have lost the bet. But my wife and son are blue even though Obama won because now they have nothing to do.
